Review:

‘The Case’ is a short film noir film from the Czech Republic in which a detective chases a mysterious figure through town.

Unfortunately, I cannot make anymore out of this film because the action is pretty unclear at times and the film ends rather inconclusive. Yet, Zivocký’s graphical style is a delight to watch. He uses a bold and raw graphical style, combined with strong cinematography. The film might be a narrative failure, artistically it’s certainly a winner.
